Persecution in the Present day Part 2: Islam

Islam has spread rapidly, especially over Europe and the Middle East. The areas with the largest amount of people who call themselves Christians is no longer in Europe, it is in Asia and Africa.

Muslims believe in a Man called Mohammed who claimed to be a prophet from a "god" called Allah. Mohammed taught this religion and wrote a book of "divine law" called the Koran. All Muslims read and obey the Koran and pray to Allah.

As the number of Muslims increases and countries become over 90% Muslim, persecution in these countries grows as well. The governments in these countries either are restricted( which means you are not exactly forbidden to preach, the governments will try to protect you, but the Muslims themselves will be hostile) or hostile(which means that Christianity is forbidden and the government will do all it can to stop you, to the point of putting in prison, torturing and sometimes even killing Christians).

Based on their beliefs, Islam is actively against Christianity. A Muslim who converts to Christianity will be beaten, tortured, banished, and killed by their own family for becoming a Christian.
